межд. эк., амер. поправка Джексона-Вэника (поправка к закону "О торговле" от 1974 г., согласно которой режим наибольшего благоприятствования может быть распространен только на те страны с нерыночной экономикой, эмиграционный режим которых признавался либеральным; название дано по именам сенатора Генри Джексона (Henry Jackson) и конгрессмена Чарльза Вэника (Charles Vanik), которые содействовали внесению поправки; поправка сыграла важнейшую роль в обеспечении возможности эмиграции из СССР, в частности, в США и Израиль; несмотря на все геополитические изменения, по состоянию на начало 2007 г. поправка продолжала действовать в отношении России и ряда других стран СНГ)
